    Food Stuffs
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 tlbs all purpose flour
  • 4 tlbs light olive oil
    Seasonings
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp coriander

    Steps for Completion
  1. Chop up onion into small pieces and put to the side.
  2. Drain the chickpeas and add to the processor with the parsley, garlic, baking soda, and seasonings. Pulse for a couple of seconds until coarsely chopped.
  3. Beat eggs and flour together in mixing bowl. Add chickpea mix, onions, and 1 tlbs of olive oil. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Use the rest of the olive oil to fry on the skillet. It takes about 7 minutes each side on medium-low heat. For a healthier option, use less oil and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
